AGE LIMITS

Children
Two children under the age of 7 may travel free of charge with a fare-paying passenger (a schoolchild, young person or adult). If a child under the age of 7 travels unaccompanied the child pays the same fare as a schoolchild aged 7-19. You can take a pram free of charge. The child in the pram travels free of charge.
Note that a pram can only be taken if there is room for it. The pram must not block the central aisle.

Schoolchildren aged 7-19
From your 7th birthday until you reach the age of 20 a lower price applies for one-way tickets.

Young people aged 20-25
Until you reach the age of 26 a lower price applies for our Travel Card Period (Resekort period) and for purchases of one-way tickets with credit (reskassa).

Seniors aged 65+
We do not have any discounts for senior citizens for one-way tickets. But if you are over the age of 65 you can buy a Senior Card (Seniorkort) which gives substantial discounts on buses and trains throughout the county.

As regards all age limits, in doubtful cases you must always be able to show proof of your age with an ID.
